The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) believes that students of all academic abilities need help transitioning to college, meeting rigorous academic standards, and succeeding in their respective majors. The CAE provides a community of learning that values: empowering students to own their learning progress, providing support through academic coaching and tutoring, supporting academic research and scholarship and assisting with professional and career readiness.
In addition to serving as the Executive Director of the CAE, Dr. Ingram is chair of the Department of General Studies. She teaches Exploring Vocation and Life Calling and First Year Seminar courses, as well as advising students still exploring the right major for their unique calling and set of skills. In addition to teaching in General Studies, Dr. Ingram also teaches in the University Honors Program.
